Superintendent Dr. Mike Stacy elaborates on what he loves about B4B..."Philanthropy and Community".
Asked if he is worried about losing..."My vertical may have suffered another year; but, I'm shaving my head twice a day for good luck and working out at 4:00 AM."  "Go staff!"
Nurse Amy Thomas...really took the loss hard last  year.  "Bringing the confidence this year!!!"
"SLUSHER...YOU DON'T WANT THESE PROBLEMS!"  Lucas Benson, Senior Co-Captain
Miles Laird says, "The 2017 senior boys are a class of MEN."  Miles is also a member of the 2016 State Champion Football Beechwood Tigers. Sounds like Coach Rash has been a big influence!?!  Miles points out his two best friends, gives a few fist pumps, and exclaims, "Seniors are going to win 2017 B4B!"
Mr. Justin Kaiser, Asst. Principal, Athletic Director, and Staff Team Captain
"I'm  not worried about the B4B game."  Last year, Mr. Kaiser was unselfish with  the basketball but showed great potential knocking down a few  3-pointers.

B4B stands for Basketball 4 Business and is a game between the staff and seniors.  Game is March 21 at 3:00.  Doors open at 2:50.  Student backpacks shall be placed in grade-designated area.  In 2007, FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) members started the fundraiser event.

  • B4B has donated $6,350 to charities, including:  The Cure Starts Now, leukemia and cancer research, Make-A-Wish, Wounded Warriors, Beechwood cheer and band programs, and more.
  • Each year, students operate B4B as a simulated company and learn real lessons about financial responsibility and marketing from a business standpoint.

Senior superlative, and legacy-Miss Beechwood-Olivia Sletto has not seen a B4B game.  She has earned service hours working in the concessions.  This year, she is stepping out of the box as a B4B cheerleader!
